ABOUT

Lucy trained in London and Paris on the catwalks of Chanel, Yves St Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld, Balenciaga and Claude Montana. In 1990 she opened in Portobello and became known for stitch straw braid hats and her multi functional streetwear and has sold internationally, including Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Barneys New York and Saks of 5th Avenue.

Fusing classic couture and conceptual design, Lucy's core passion has always remained the specialist craft of working on 150 year old '17 Guinea' sewing machines.

Publications include Vogue, Dazed, WWD and iD. Clients include Rihanna and the legendary Sir Lloyd Coxsone from Outernational Sound System.

Collaborations include Comme des Garcons, Preen and Labrum London.

Lucy is a QEST Craft Scholar and a member of The British Hat Guild and Heritage Crafts.
